Abyan.. A gunman opened fire on a store that refused to sell on credit

Today, Wednesday, a gunman opened fire on a store selling food and consumer goods in Abyan Governorate.
Local sources reported that a gunman opened fire on a store selling food, spices, and other consumer items, in the center of Zanzibar City, the capital of the province.
The sources said that the store, which is owned by a citizen named “Sadiq Ahmed,” refused to deliver food supplies to the gunman on credit, which the latter did not accept and opened fire on the store, causing it to close.
While the sources condemned the armed attack and considered it an infringement on the property of others, they pointed out that the deterioration of living and economic conditions is one of the most important reasons for society’s slide into creative chaos.
It was stated that most of the districts of Abyan are witnessing similar incidents and persecutions against shop owners, which makes them unable to pay the rents for these shops and the merchants who provide them with goods.
