The Faculty of Arts and Mass Communication at the University of Aden organized, this Wednesday morning, a solidarity event with the Palestinian people who are subjected to a war of extermination by the Israeli killing machine, under the generous patronage of His Excellency the President of the University of Aden, Professor Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Laswar.

The event, which was attended by the Vice President of the University for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Muhammad Aqeel Al-Attas, and the Deans of Arts and Media, opened with a verse from the Holy Quran, and a stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people as a result of the hideous war and extermination to which they are being subjected by the Israeli occupation forces.

In his speech, the President of the University of Aden, Professor Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Laswar, condemned in the strongest terms the blatant aggression carried out by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip against children and women, violating the sanctity of homes, and targeting residential neighborhoods and hospitals.

The university president stressed that this event comes to confirm the University of Aden’s firm and firm position towards the brotherly Palestinian people and their just cause.

The event witnessed theatrical performances and a documentary about the martyrdom of many journalists in Gaza, and various artistic and poetic performances that reflected the reality of the Palestinian issue and what the Palestinian people in Gaza face in terms of genocide and forced displacement as a result of the brutal Israeli aggression.

This event comes within the activities of the 24th University Student Week for the current academic year at the University of Aden.
