Assignments to combat brokering of Aden passports among citizens

The Deputy Director of Security of the Capital Aden, Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, and the Director of the Immigration and Passports Authority, Colonel Nasr Al-Shawash, his deputies, and the directors of the Immigration and Passports Departments, discussed today, Wednesday, the difficulties of working in the Authority.
The meeting discussed traffic congestion in the line surrounding the building due to the newly installed kiosks, addressing the difficulties hindering citizens, and correcting any defect in immigration management.
Attendees stressed the imposition of job discipline, cooperation with citizens, and the prevention of brokerage activities.
Brigadier Jabr called for developing appropriate solutions to prevent brokers from exploiting citizens near the building and raising their names to the security authorities to take legal measures against them.
He called for informing the Security Department to confront any violation or obstruction in issuing a passport to any person or exploiting the citizen by circumventing the law.
He directed that military uniforms be provided for passport security officers and personnel so that they appear properly, along with identification cards for all employees.
