The preparatory committee and supervisory committees at the Faculty of Information at the University of Aden held a meeting today, Thursday, to discuss the final arrangements for the University Student Week, which will begin next Sunday, February 18, 2024.

The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Information and Head of the Preparatory Committee, Dr. Wahib Mahdi Aziban, in the presence of members of the Preparatory Committee responsible for the University Student Week, which will be held under the patronage of the President of the University of Aden, Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Lasur.

During the meeting, the Dean of the College of Information stressed the need to make all efforts to complete all arrangements related to the University Student Week to ensure a positive image of the college and its activities is reflected.

Dr. Wahib Aziban also urged all participating students to work as one team, and to highlight their creativity and different talents in the desired and optimal manner.

Dr. Aziban indicated that the university student week will contain many diverse student activities, including:

* Scientific exhibition: to display students’ projects and scientific research.

* Intellectual, cultural, sports and media competitions: to discover and hone student talents.

* Multiple scientific workshops: to develop students’ skills in various fields.

* Charity dish: to support student activities.

University Student Week is expected to witness wide participation from students, which contributes to creating an atmosphere of interaction and creativity among them.

University Student Week is a unique opportunity for students to express themselves and highlight their creativity, and it also contributes to enhancing the spirit of cooperation and harmony among them.
