The Houthis kidnap a father and his children and take them to an unknown prison inside a camp in Ibb

Local sources in Ibb Governorate, central Yemen, reported that the Houthi militia carried out a new kidnapping campaign against civilians in one of the eastern towns of the governorate, which has been under its control for years.
The sources said that, on Wednesday night, members of the militia stormed a house in the village of Al-Halawi, located near Al-Hamza camp, which the militia uses as a launching pad for rockets, and kidnapped him and a number of his young sons.
The sources explained that the militia accused one of the members of the kidnapped family of involvement in stealing ammunition from the camp, and transferred them to an unknown prison inside the camp, without their family knowing their fate or whereabouts.
The sources indicated that this campaign is the second of its kind carried out by the militia this month, against residents near Al-Hamza camp, which is witnessing intense military activity by the militia, from which it launches missiles towards the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
These kidnappings are part of a series of violations and crimes committed by the Houthi militia against civilians in the areas it controls, including killing, torture, displacement, forced recruitment, looting, and extortion, in light of the silence and inaction of international and humanitarian organizations.
