After receiving a report from the leadership of the Seventh Security Zone and the Darsaad Police, the Director General of the Darsaad District in the capital, Aden, Mr. Aboud Naji Hussein, went on Friday afternoon, February 16, 2024, to the crime site that occurred next to the cruise ship in front of the Gulf Restaurant and the Barti Petroleum Station, where a Hilux car was targeted. With an explosive device, the son of one of the most prominent southern leaders was killed.

While inspecting the incident, the Director General of the Directorate heard some of the details reported by eyewitnesses who tried to save the situation and put out the fire resulting from the treacherous and cowardly explosion on the car that was being driven by the son of one of the most prominent southern leaders.

Where the Director General of Dar Saad directed the security services in the directorate, led by the Commander of the Seventh Security Region, Brigadier General Saleh Saeed Al-Hazmi, who came to the scene of the incident, the Deputy Director of Dar Saad Police, Captain Abdul Majeed Al-Jahouri, the head of criminal investigation, Captain Khaled Muhammad Abdullah, and the head of the security department in the Supreme Authority for Community Committees in Dar Saad, Musaed. The commander of the region, Colonel Saleh Al-Shuaibi, who arrived at the crime scene and supervised the security of the incident site, directed the need to raise vigilance, secure the crime site, take precautionary measures, verify the details of the incident, and follow up on the crime leads.
