The Prime Minister makes a field visit to the President Electrical Station in Brega

The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, today, Saturday, made a field visit to the President’s Electric Power Production Station in the Buraiqa District in the capital, Aden, which was implemented and managed by PetroMasila Company.
The Prime Minister listened to an explanation from the Minister of Electricity and Energy, Mana bin Yameen, and the working engineers about the progress of work at the station and ways to enhance the reality of generation and raise efficiency, in a way that ensures the smooth delivery of electrical energy to citizens and contributes to the stability of the service. He praised the efforts of the workers, engineers, administrators, etc. They put in their dedication and continuous effort at work.
Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak was briefed on the work of the station and the operating mechanisms, in addition to the progress of completion of the electrical energy discharge project, which is expected to be completed next March, as well as plans to operate the station at its full production capacity, and the ongoing preparations for next summer.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs spoke with the control room to follow up on the progress of electrical power distribution and plans to reduce outage hours, and directed to redouble efforts to alleviate the suffering of citizens, within the framework of complementary work and joint effort to improve the conditions of this vital sector.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, chaired a meeting that included station officials, engineers, and representatives of the PetroMasila Company, where various aspects related to the work of the President Electrical Station were discussed in terms of production, plans to increase it, providing a sufficient stock of fuel, the maintenance program, and existing needs. And proposals to address them.
Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak praised the efforts of all workers at the station, pointing out that solving the electricity problem represents a top priority for the government and the importance of joining all efforts to identify the needs and solve the problems facing the electricity system according to clear plans and vision in the short and long term.
p>The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs issued several directives related to the work of the station and the production sector, to facilitate tasks, bypass routine, shorten time, and improve the level of service provided to citizens, in addition to activating short, medium, and long-term strategic plans to solve chronic problems in the electricity sector.
In turn, the Minister of Electricity and Energy expressed his thanks to the Prime Minister for the great interest he gives to the electricity sector and addressing its conditions in a way that is reflected in the level of service provided to citizens.. stressing that this visit is a clear message of this interest.
