Tribal armed clashes broke out on Sunday afternoon, against the backdrop of a tribal dispute over land ownership in Shabwa Governorate.
This is the second incident in less than a week, following similar disputes between tribesmen.
Local sources confirmed to Khabar Agency that armed clashes broke out between the “Babakri” and “Bafjish” tribes in the Saliba area, north of Al-Rawda District, due to a dispute over land ownership between the two tribes, without further details.
Last Monday, similar clashes broke out between the “Al-Hadi Al-Nassin” and the “Al-Maqarha” in the Rumah area of the Lower Markha District, following a dispute over the location of one of the telecommunications company towers in the region, in which heavy weapons were used, in which a number of people were wounded.< /p>
This comes in light of a state of chaos and security chaos in most Yemeni regions, amid weekly armed conflicts and almost daily assassinations.
