On Sunday, the Central Bank in Aden issued a circular regarding internal money transfers through exchange companies and facilities and any money transfer networks affiliated with them.
Yesterday, Sunday, the bank directed a circular to all commercial banks operating in Yemen to stop implementing internal financial transfers through the financial transfer networks affiliated with exchange companies and establishments or their agents directly, directing that the implementation of these transfers be limited to the unified network for financial transfers.
The circular explained that this measure comes within the framework of the Central Bank of Aden’s direction towards activating the unified network for financial transfers, and organizing the supervisory work on transfers carried out through networks of banks and money changers.
