The Prime Minister directs the implementation of a number of emergency projects to improve the performance of Al-Jumhuriya Hospital

The Prime Minister directed the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, to implement a number of urgent treatments and emergency projects to improve the performance of the Republic Model General Hospital in Aden, based on the results of the field visit he conducted to the hospital and reviewing its needs.
This came while the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs chaired, today, Monday, in the interim capital, Aden, a meeting that included the Ministers of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasim Buhaybah, the Minister of Finance, Salem Bin Brik, the State Governor of Aden, Ahmed Lamlas, and the leadership of the Republic Hospital Authority.
Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, Minister of Finance and State, Governor of Aden, directed the start of construction work for the hospital wall, to protect the hospital campus from violations and tampering, improve the image of the hospital, and add the necessary components and accessories to raise the hospital’s efficiency.
He also directed to prepare tenders for the establishment of outpatient clinics and the emergency department in the hospital, relying on available resources, and coordinating with donor countries and organizations to finance the development of the hospital in a manner befitting its historical status.
The Prime Minister assigned the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Ministries of Health, Finance, and Civil Service, to address the conditions of the staff and submit the necessary proposals for approval... pointing to the government’s keenness to restore respect to this ancient medical edifice, the foundation stone of which was laid by Queen Elizabeth II of Britain on April 27, 1954. With his heritage and social status, and the roles he played during his history in providing health services to citizens in Aden and all Yemeni governorates near and far.
The leadership of the Republic Hospital Authority presented the development plans and ideas it adopts, and its efforts within the available capabilities to continue improving medical and therapeutic services.
