The Prime Minister directs the provision of a floating ship to generate 100 megawatts of electricity in Aden

Today, Monday, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, chaired a government meeting in the capital, Aden, to discuss plans prepared to find alternatives to increase electricity generation capacity in preparation for the coming summer, and to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
The meeting held an extensive discussion about mechanisms for benefiting from the most efficient and least expensive alternatives for providing electricity service, overcoming problems and obstacles to implementing previously signed agreements in this aspect, and proposed treatments.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs directed the relevant ministers to invite the company contracted to provide a floating power generation ship with a capacity of 100 megawatts to enhance electricity in the capital, Aden, to discuss aspects of implementing the agreement and the existing obstacles, and to submit the necessary proposals for approval.
The meeting was attended by the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen, Ahmed Ghaleb, the Ministers of Finance, Salem Bin Brik, the Ministers of Legal Affairs, Ahmed Arman, the Ministers of Electricity, Manea Bin Yameen, and the State Governor of Aden, Ahmed Lamlas.
