Under the directives of the Governor of Shabwa Governorate, Chairman of the Security Committee, Brother Awad Muhammad bin Al-Wazir, and under the supervision of the Deputy Director General of the Governorate Police, Brigadier General Ahmed Nasser Al-Ahwal, a security campaign was launched this afternoon from the Public Security Units of the Governorate Police, supported by units from... The Shabwa Defense Forces and the Southern Giants Forces, to the Bayhan District, to resolve the tribal conflict between the Al-Shajara and the Al-Jarama.

This campaign comes after exhausting all efforts and endeavors to calm the situation between the two parties.

The security campaign arrived in the Bayhan district this afternoon, consisting of a number of security crews from the governorate police, supported by a team from the Shabwa Defense Forces, and two crews and a vehicle from the Southern Giants forces.

The security forces are working to take the necessary measures in accordance with the regulations and laws to resolve the conflict between the two parties following armed clashes that took place between them, in which medium weapons were used.

The security source confirmed that the security campaign came under the directives of Governor Bin Al-Wazir as part of efforts to establish security and stability throughout Shabwa Governorate, and not to allow any security imbalances of any kind and from any party.

The security campaign was widely welcomed among the people of Beihan district, to resolve the conflict and bring about a ceasefire.
