Asphalt work is currently underway on the third section of the Ataq-Al-Abr international road in Shabwa Governorate, which is being implemented with funding and supervision from the Road and Bridge Maintenance Fund, the main center in the capital, Aden, and the directives of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads.

The technical teams of Ayyad General Contracting Company continue to maintain the third section with extensive asphalt work in the final stages of maintaining the section as part of the targeted maintenance of the road linking Yemen to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The project manager, Engineer Ahmed Mustafa Hamido, explained that the working teams are continuing work on targeting the section with the asphalt layer, with great efforts to complete it soon, stressing that the project is witnessing the final stages of asphalt work within the targeted section.

It is worth noting that the maintenance work of the third section is taking place in conjunction with the maintenance work of the fourth section of the project, which the Fund launched at the beginning of this month, amid many projects targeted by the Maintenance Fund in Shabwa Governorate, with follow-up and interest from the Ministry of Public Works and Roads.
