The US State Department condemned the indiscriminate Houthi attacks on civilian cargo ships, stressing that the Iranian-backed militia attacks raise prices and delay the delivery of vital humanitarian supplies.

She stressed this evening, Wednesday, that the attacks of the Houthi terrorist militia do not help the Palestinians and do not provide a single morsel to the Palestinian people, adding that they continue to show their indifference to innocent people in the areas under their control, and are endangering the peace process.

The US State Department cautioned that our sanctions on the terrorist Houthis do not restrict commercial shipments or humanitarian aid to the population.
