In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Muhammad Al-Daari, the Supreme Military and Security Committee held its meeting this morning, Thursday, 2/22/2024, in the temporary capital, Aden

At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Haitham Qasim Taher, Chairman of the Military and Security Committee, welcomed Lieutenant General Al-Daari, stressing that the Military Committee is working to assist the Ministry of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff, noting the importance of continuous cooperation and coordination between the Military Committee and the Ministry of Defense to resolve all problems in the Ministry and on various fronts. He added The Chairman of the Committee said that the formulation of the structures for the Ministries of Defense and Interior had been completed.

After listening to the members’ interventions, Minister Al-Daari stressed the great importance of accelerating the completion of the committee’s theoretical concepts and moving to the field in line with the acceleration of events in the region, pointing to the difficult situation that the region is going through, which requires complete readiness and preparedness for all possibilities on various fronts

Al-Daari stressed the importance of the work of the Military and Security Committee and that it has a strict vision in order to unify the salaries of the military forces for all components, sectors and fronts

He stressed that there is an upcoming republican decision to include all military components under the leadership of the Ministry of Defense.
