Citizens complain about the obstacles of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Aden... and others are stuck

Citizens complained that the Ministry of Interior in the legitimate Yemeni government in Aden deliberately delayed sending immigrants’ documents to the relevant embassies and consulates abroad.
They confirmed that officials and employees of the Ministry in Aden deliberately obstruct the sending of documents related to immigrants to Yemeni embassies and consulates abroad, to complete their procedures in those regions.
They explained that the immigrant citizen, whether a student, worker, or other person, waits from 3 to 5 days after the documents are certified by the ministry itself and delivered to the competent department to be sent via the electronic mail service (email) to the Yemeni embassy or consulate in the country concerned.
This comes at a time when the electronic correspondence process no longer exceeds a few seconds per transaction, or a minute at its maximum if a single transaction includes more than one document and a media file.
The waiting period doubles the financial losses for transaction owners, especially those coming from other governorates as a result of the high cost of housing and food.
The suffering is further exacerbated for migrants with their families to the Gulf countries through land ports, after they are detained at those ports due to a lack of certification of their documents. These are procedures for which the relevant government ministries and transport offices bear responsibility due to the lack of coordination between them, and for informing travelers before the booking and travel process.
Travelers with their families reported that they were stuck at the Shehn border crossing with Oman for days, waiting for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to send their documents to the Muscat embassy to complete entry procedures, which cost them a lot financially for food and hotel accommodation.
