For a shocking reason.. India bans a famous sweet that is widely sold in Yemeni markets

The Indian Ministry of Health in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu issued a decision banning the manufacture and sale of cotton candy, which is famous in Arab countries under the name “cotton candy.”
The decision comes after the Indian Ministry conducted laboratory analyzes on samples of sweets, revealing the presence of carcinogenic chemicals in them, such as artificial colors, bleaches, and additives.
The Ministry said in a statement that these materials pose a threat to the health of consumers, especially children, and cause chronic diseases, including cancer, hepatitis, and food poisoning.
The Ministry confirmed that it will take all legal measures against producers and sellers who violate the decision, and called on citizens to refrain from purchasing these sweets and to report any violation.
In our country, children eat cotton candy in abundance and it is sold in various cities. It is manufactured using home machines, but it has not been subject to any checks from official authorities.
