In a tragic incident, a 12-year-old Yemeni child was killed by a bullet in the head accidentally fired by his older brother (15 years old) while he was playing with an automatic weapon in their home in the Hays District of Hodeidah Governorate.

Security sources confirmed that the police began investigating the incident and took the necessary legal measures, noting that the incident resulted from mishandling of weapons and a lack of family supervision.

The sources warned of the danger of leaving weapons within the reach of children who may consider them toys and cause irreversible disasters, calling on families to be careful and preserve the safety of their children.
