Today, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, directed the formation of an emergency committee from the concerned authorities to deal with the crisis of the ship “Rubimar”.

The ship "Rubimar", which carries the flag of Belize, was attacked by the terrorist Houthi militia, carrying a large load of ammonia, oils and dangerous materials, which constitutes a dangerous threat to marine life.

In a statement, the Yemeni government called on countries, bodies and organizations concerned with the marine environment to support its efforts to prevent an environmental disaster.
