Waste removal work continues from the lake and the central island in Aden

The Executive Director General of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the capital, Aden, Engineer Qaid Rashid Anam, this morning, along with the Director General of the Salt Foundation, “Al-Mallah,” Nabil Abdullah Mahyoub, made an inspection tour of the lake.
During which they reviewed the progress of work in removing dust and waste carried out by the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the capital, Aden, as part of the work of the second phase of the rehabilitation project for the central island and the lake, starting from the Suzuki roundabout and ending with the coast of Abyan. While the work of the second phase includes removing waste from the lake up to the Automated Issue intersection.
During the inspection visit, ways of coordinating and enhancing cooperation were discussed between the Fund’s management and the Al-Mallah Foundation, which would complete the work of the project phases and introduce seawater into them...as well as in enhancing cooperation to preserve the lake areas from random filling, maintain their cleanliness, and protect them from spreading and random construction. . As one of the most important national symbols that characterize the city of Aden, and as the lung through which the port of Aden breathes, not to mention the economic, tourism and entertainment resource it represents.
