The US Embassy in Bahrain expressed its heartfelt condolences to the families and colleagues of the Bahrain Defense Force members who were martyred in a terrorist attack by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.

In a statement a short while ago, it expressed its wishes for the wounded to recover quickly, stressing that the United States stands with the people and government of Bahrain, as a long-time ally and friend.

The Kingdom of Bahrain announced, on Monday, the martyrdom of one of its officers and a soldier in an attack by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia on their position on Saudi Arabia’s southern border with Yemen.

The terrorist militia continues to evade time and regroup its members under the pretext of negotiating and extending the humanitarian truce, while it continues to target the south daily, and bomb civilian villages.
