The Hope Foundation for Feminist Social Culture and the Peace and Construction Foundation, with the participation of trainees from the National Democratic Institute (NDI), in the city of Mukalla, organized a dialogue session entitled Hadhramaut, Where in the Peace Process, on the occasion of International Day of Peace.
The session included 3 discussion papers presented by the Democratic Institute trainees, Salem Awadah, Sarah Bamahdi, and Majed Al-Maqdi, during which they presented a number of political visions for Hadramaut in the peace process for a number of Hadrami political components.
The session witnessed active participation and rich interventions from attendees representing various parties, political components, and societal forces, as these interventions centered on the current situation in Hadramaut and its positive role in achieving peace.
This session aims to shed light on the developments in the peace process in Hadhramaut and understand the viewpoints of the various political parties regarding it, and contribute to enhancing dialogue and understanding between the various parties concerned with the peace process, and is a positive step towards enhancing stability and peace in the region.
