The media center of the Second Military Region Command issued an explanatory statement regarding the incident of the martyrdom of Assistant Abdul Rahman Saad Al-Ajili and the mild injury of his colleague during their training at the Brigade’s camp in Mukalla.
The command of the Second Military District explained that the cause of the accident was the explosion of an RPG charge during training, which led to the martyrdom of Assistant Al-Ajili and the slight injury of his colleague.

The leadership of the Second Military Region explains to local and foreign media; The martyrdom of Assistant Abdul Rahman Saad Al-Ajili of the Military Police Brigade, and the wounding of another colleague with a light injury, was caused by the explosion of an RPG charge, during training, in the brigade’s camp in Mukalla.
The leadership of the Second Military Region calls on all media and the public to be accurate and cautious in dealing with news related to this painful incident. We are keen to provide information in a transparent and correct manner to avoid spreading rumors and media misinformation. We would like to stress that this painful incident is not the result of any deliberate terrorist act, but rather It was the result of an unfortunate accident
The command of the second military region passes through; Expressing its sincere condolences to the family of the martyred assistant and his relatives in their painful affliction, asking the Almighty God to cover the deceased with His vast mercy, forgiveness and satisfaction, and to dwell him in spacious gardens, and to inspire his family and relatives patience and solace, and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured soldier.
