A government delegation reviews the progress of work on the project to remove waste and dust from the lake in Khor Maksar

A high-level delegation from the Office of the Presidency of the Republic and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, consisting of Mr. Iqbal Bahadur, Deputy Director General of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Fadl Ali Hussein Al-Shaeri, Assistant Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, and Engineer Ali Ahmed Hassan Ahmed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads, and Neruda Anis Hamshari, Secretary of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, and Suhaim Al-Minni, Communications Coordinator, this morning visited the work site in the project to remove waste and dust from the lake in the Khor Maksar District, which is implemented by the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the capital, Aden.
They were received at the project site by Engineer Qaid Rashid Anam, Executive Director General of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, Khalil Muqbel, Director of the Evaluation and Follow-up Department, and Engineer Muhammad Handal.
The Deputy Director General of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Iqbal Bahadur, and his companions, the Director General of the Cleaning Fund, were briefed on the components of the project, which extends from the Suzuki tour. It includes the rehabilitation of the central island up to the lake. The second stage is the removal of waste and dust from the lake until the automated release round, and the third phase is from the automated release to the Abyan coast. With paving and rehabilitating both sides of the lake and establishing public, recreational and tourism services there. And others, and to serve as a natural outlet that connects the water of the salt lakes to the sea water on the coast of Abyan.
The Deputy Director General of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic praised the efforts of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, represented by the Director General, Engineer Rashid, in preserving the lands of the breathing spaces, public parks, and central islands, with the lake project at the forefront. Emphasizing the keenness to support the presidency and the government for this important strategic project.
