A protest by faculty members in the Colleges of Education and Society in Socotra Governorate to demand their rights

Teaching staff members in the Colleges of Education and Society in the Socotra Archipelago organized a protest today, Wednesday, to demand the improvement of their conditions and the empowerment of their rights.
The protest, which was held at the Socotra College of Education, witnessed wide participation from faculty members, who raised slogans calling for attention to the educational process and improving their living conditions.
The participants in the protest called on the concerned authorities in the governorate to deal positively with their demands announced in previous statements, in order to preserve the educational process.
The faculty members in the Colleges of Education and Society in the Socotra Archipelago Governorate had implemented escalatory steps that began by hanging the red badges and then a partial strike, leading to an open strike, stressing that the escalation would continue until their rights were achieved.
The faculty members in the Colleges of Education and Society are demanding that their conditions be improved and that the colleges receive their due support for education from (the Sheikh Khalifa Foundation and the Saudi Programme), which would improve their conditions and grant them their rights and thus contribute to the continuation of the educational process.
