A senior conference leader was arrested for parading in a car convoy in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi authorities arrested the leader of the Congress Party, Sheikh Ali Al-Dubaibi, and three of his companions in Mecca.
According to the security authorities, the reason for their arrest was their parade in a convoy of cars in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, which they described as “irregular.”
The security authorities published a leaflet attached to a picture of people who had been arrested, in which they said that 4 people of Yemeni nationality had been arrested and others identified, for conducting a procession and obstructing traffic on a public road, and this was documented and published.
She added that they were arrested, legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution.
Ali Al-Dubaibi is one of the most prominent leaders of the General People’s Congress located in Houthi-controlled areas, and holds a high rank in the Yemeni army.
