This morning, Wednesday, February 28, 2024, Mr. Aboud Naji Hussein, Director General of Dar Saad District in the capital, Aden, inaugurated the signing of the memorandum of understanding to hand over the site of the project to supply and install medical equipment and furniture for the Al-Salam Health Center in Al-Lahmeh Al-Sharqiya, north of the District

The project aims to provide the necessary medical devices and equipment and furniture for Al Salam Health Center (equipping and operating the center) during the coming period of this year 2024, with the purchase and installation of an electrical transformer with a capacity of 1000 megawatts.

This project comes within the framework of efforts to enhance institutional and economic flexibility in Yemen, which is funded by the European Union in Yemen and implemented by the United Nations Development Program in Yemen through the Yemen Aid organization under the supervision of the Ministry of Local Administration.

In a statement to the media, Mr. Abboud Naji confirmed that the local authority in the district is determined to complete the preparation work and officially open the center, and to benefit from it immediately after receipt so that the people of the region can obtain medical services and health care without hardship or trouble. .., pointing to the importance of the project in serving the directorate and enhancing the local authority’s ability to rebuild service projects, stressing that the local authority in Dar Saad will work to provide all the necessary facilities to facilitate the procedures for implementing the project.

During the inauguration ceremony, the organization's engineering team explained and clarified the type of intervention and the components of the project after its completion.
