A medical scandal in Aden... expired medicines are thrown near schools and garbage barrels!

The Director General of the Mansoura District in the capital, Aden, Ahmed Ali Al-Daoudi, directed the destruction of (4) tons of expired medicines.
This came during the destruction committee headed by the Director of the Public Health and Population Office in Mansoura District, Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Muflhi, carrying out the process of destroying about “4” tons of expired medicines in the Bir Al-Naama landfill in Al-Buraiqa District, after they were recently seized by the Department. Environmental Health Department of the Public Works and Roads Office in the Directorate, thrown next to a number of schools, and others near garbage barrels, as well as in some streets of the Directorate.
The Director General of Mansoura, Ahmed Al-Daoudi, indicated that the destruction process was carried out in accordance with the established legal mechanisms and procedures, stressing the keenness and interest of the leadership of the local authority in the directorate for such issues in order to preserve the health and safety of citizens.
It is worth mentioning that the Director General of Mansoura District issued a decision to form a committee to destroy the amount of expired medicines, headed by the Director of the Public Health and Population Office in the District, and whose membership includes the head of the Environmental Health Department in the District Public Works Office, Hassan Al-Shaabi, and his deputy, Mahmoud Al-Muflihi, And the department employees, Yasser Abdel Sattar and Bassem Abdel Karim.
