Salman explained that the American administration has not yet decided to implement this option, and that it links it to a gradual series of steps, starting with a disciplined military confrontation, moving to political action within a diplomatic track, and ending with the killing of Houthi figures from the first row if other methods fail.

Salman indicated that the American administration is trying to avoid a comprehensive confrontation with Iran, which supports the Houthis and seeks to strengthen its influence in the region, and that it hopes that Iran will issue instructions to the Houthis to stop the escalation, as it did with its militias in Iraq.

Salman wondered how serious the American administration was in implementing this option, its impact on the conflict arena in Yemen and the region, and the reaction of the Houthis and Iranians to this option, indicating that it may bring about a decisive turning point in the political and military position.
