The engineering unit in the Armed Forces of the South was able to dismantle an explosive device in Al-Mahfad District in Abyan Governorate, which was planted by members of the organization at the entrance to Wadi Hamara.

A military source said that the operation to neutralize the device came after accurate intelligence information was available about the organization planting explosive devices in the area, out of fear of the southern armed forces advancing into the valley.

This operation comes within the framework of the efforts of the Southern Armed Forces to secure the liberated areas, clear them of mines and explosive devices, ensure the safety of civilians, maintain security and stability in the region, and fight the terrorist organization.
