A Yemeni official criticizes the performance of the Saudi ambassador in facilitating the passage of Yemeni pilgrims

Sanad bin Dhiban, Executive Vice President of the General Authority for Land Transport Affairs, criticized the performance of the Saudi ambassador to Yemen, Muhammad Al Jaber, in facilitating the passage of Yemeni pilgrims to Saudi territory.
Bin Dhiban indicated in a post on his Facebook page, followed by Scoop24 News, that demands have been repeated for the second year in a row to address the Saudi Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, personally to find solutions to the suffering of the Yemeni pilgrims.
He explained that it takes 48 hours for pilgrims to pass through the Saudi Deposit Port despite obtaining Umrah visas and having their papers intact, due to the lack of capacity to receive them.
Bin Dhiban called for a collective stance by all Yemenis to abandon complacency and speak with one voice, rejecting the performance of Ambassador Muhammad Al Jaber.
He considered that the ambassador should focus on facilitating the passage of citizens of the Republic of Yemen through the Al-Wadiah crossing, instead of being preoccupied with appointing a municipal director in a certain district.
An urgent report issued by the Transport Authority and the Ministry of Endowments regarding the crowding of pilgrims while the deposit was exhausted stated:-
Urgent and very important
Subject: Overcrowding of pilgrims at Al-Wadiah land port.
The Honorable
With reference to the above topic, we inform you that a joint meeting was held between the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs and the Hajj and Umrah Sector of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance, in the presence of passenger transport companies and Hajj and Umrah agencies, in order to come up with a mechanism to organize the dispersal of pilgrims without crowding and through a presentation
Specialists' daily reports have summarized the reasons, some of which have been taken directly by us, but the most important reason remains, which is that the Saudi port did not accommodate a sufficient number of Umrah pilgrims and other travelers, which caused great and recurring suffering since the 2015 war until 2023 AD, and it was not achieved. To solve it, this matter requires your intervention.
Therefore, we hope that Your Excellency will address His Excellency the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, his deputies, and His Excellency the Prime Minister to address the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and his trustworthy Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, personally, to intervene directly and raise the capacity of the Saudi deposit outlet to Entering ten thousand passengers daily for the public interest and alleviating the suffering of our people, as the Al-Wadiah land port is the only port connecting the Republic of Yemen to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
You have my sincere thanks and appreciation
