Al-Mahra... horrific details about a case of domestic violence against a girl

Al-Mahra Governorate Police announced that they were able to arrest two parents accused of practicing domestic violence against their minor daughter, and referred them to the Public Prosecution for investigation.
The police said in a statement that they had received a report from a citizen stating that there had been a case of violence against a child in a house in the Hawf district, so a security patrol moved to the site and was able to arrest the parents, who were (A.H.A.M.), 34 years old, and (M.) H.M., 30 years old, and the girl (F.A.H.), 13 years old.
The police added that they found the child suffering from burns and bruises in various parts of her body, as a result of her being severely beaten and burned with fire by her parents, who admitted to committing this crime, justifying this by saying that they wanted to raise and discipline her.
The police indicated that they transferred the child to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment, and detained the parents to investigate them and take legal measures against them, stressing that they will not be complacent in prosecuting and holding accountable anyone who practices domestic violence against children, women, and the vulnerable.
