A violent earthquake strikes the Arabian Sea off the coast of Yemen and Oman

The Seismology Center reported that a violent earthquake struck the Arabian Sea, off the coast of Yemen and the Sultanate of Oman, this evening.
The center said that a violent earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale struck the Arabian Sea, off the coast of Yemen and Oman.
The European Mediterranean Seismological Center recorded yesterday, Thursday, an earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale, indicating that the earthquake struck the Reykjanes Peninsula, southwest of Iceland.
The European Mediterranean Seismological Center said in a statement that the earthquake occurred about 1,425 km from the Icelandic capital, Reykjavik, and at a depth of 10 km.
