Shibam District Police control a shooting incident near an exchange shop and arrest those involved

The police of Shibam District were able to control a shooting incident that occurred next to one of the exchange shops in Shibam roundabout, which led to the death of a suspect in fraud cases, and the arrest of three others, including the shooter.
The police of the Shibam District said in a statement that the police patrol on duty moved immediately upon hearing heavy gunfire and surrounded the crime site. It was found that the shooting occurred next to one of the money exchange shops on the Shibam tour, when the guard of the money exchange company opened fire on a car carrying three suspicious citizens. It resulted in the death of one of them, and the Public Prosecution directed the public prosecutor to keep the body in a refrigerator and complete the procedures.
The Shibam police confirmed that things are under control and that security is stable, noting that the exchange company guard opened fire on them after trying to arrest them while they were suspected of committing a fraudulent operation earlier after they left the store, noting that the Criminal Investigation Department staff had arrived with the evidence. Criminal Police, Patrol Police, and Road Security to inspect the crime scene and seize seized items, noting that the shooter and two suspects were imprisoned in preparation for completing the legal procedures to uncover the circumstances of the crime and refer them to the Public Prosecution.
