Today, Saturday, a mentally ill person committed a massacre, killing 5 people in Ma’rib Governorate, northwest of Yemen.

Local sources reported that a mentally ill person killed 5 people in the Airport neighborhood in the city of Ma’rib (the governorate center), and fled to an unknown destination.

The incident sparked a state of fear and terror among the people about the procedure being carried out on a mentally ill person, as they were not convinced that the perpetrator was mentally ill.

The security authorities in the governorate have not issued any comment on the incident until this moment to reveal its circumstances.
