Today, activists and media outlets circulated a shocking video showing a fire that broke out in a number of brothers' blood trees in the Farmahin Reserve in the center of Socotra Island, which is considered one of the largest brothers' blood tree forests in the region. Activists wondered about the cause of the fire that affected these rare trees, especially since the area is far from housing and there are no places to use fire.

In the audio explanation accompanying the video, the activists indicated that the fire was caused by an accident, which prompted them to hold the relevant authorities responsible for the incident, including reserve officials and the office of the Public Authority for Environmental Protection.

This incident comes after a series of strange phenomena that the region has witnessed recently, including the phenomenon of the death and fall of the two brothers' blood trees in other areas of the island.

Despite the repeated calls made by the people of Socotra to address these phenomena, they were completely ignored by the relevant government agencies, which prompted them to demand a comprehensive investigation to determine the causes of these incidents and take the necessary measures.
