A citizen was injured by gunfire east of Taiz

A citizen was injured by a gunshot to the head after being exposed to an ambush set up by an armed gang in Khadir District, which is controlled by the terrorist Houthi militia, east of Taiz Governorate.
A local source reported that the citizen, Fatah Naji Qasim Saleh, who works in selling qat, was shot in an ambush set up by an armed gang in the Al-Dimna area in the Khadir District of Taiz Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militias.
The source said that the citizen "Fath", a resident of the village of Ishmar, Al-Aqroud District, Al-Misrakh District, Taiz, had received a phone call at 9 pm, Friday, March 1, 2024, from a person who deluded him that he owed him the price of Qat and would pay the amount he owed.
The source continued that the citizen “Fatah” arrived at the specified location and was surprised when the gang tied his hands, covered his eyes, and retrieved all his belongings before they shot him in the back of the head and left him bleeding until 6 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
According to the source, passers-by found him on the morning of the insult and took him to the hospital, where he is in intensive care.
