In confirmation and clarification to the Aden Oil Company Syndicate of the content of the points of its warning statement issued on February 13, 2024 AD..
A union leadership source stated that the Aden Oil Company Union adheres to what it stated without recourse, and that all the company’s employees are fully prepared to protect the company from any infringement on it or the imposition of decisions that harm its interest and the interest of the country and the citizen.
The union leader stressed that the leadership of the company’s union and all its workers hope that the responsible authorities in the presidency, the government, the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, the local authority, and the general administration of the company will take into consideration and with great interest what was stated in the statement regarding the necessity of resolving the matter without procrastination or procrastination. To serve the public interest, and to avoid any escalation on its part if it insists on passing the decision to appoint an employee in the Shabwa Oil Company branch to the position of third deputy general manager in the Oil Company, Aden branch.
The union leader warned of the consequences of the intransigence of some responsible authorities and the irresponsibility of those concerned by provoking employees, broadcasting threatening messages, and imposing force to pass this decision, through a group of henchmen who do not care about the interest of the company or the interest of its employees.

The union leader asked, saying:
Have the audacity of some of them reached such an extent of chaos and indifference to the important state revenue institutions, that it has become easy to appoint an employee from the company’s branch in Shabwa, when he and the management of his company’s branch have had problems and he has been accused of embezzling funds, as confirmed by the Public Funds Prosecution ( concerned and competent in the case) which, through our follow-up of the course of the case, did not deny the accusation as the person concerned claims through the media and invokes a memorandum from an authority not competent in the case file, and even the letter he invokes does not definitively and clearly drop the accusation against him, otherwise what is preventing him? Who can return to his job at the company’s branch in Shabwa normally if the prosecution has acquitted him?
The union leader concluded by saying:
We in the Oil Company Syndicate, Aden Branch, confirm to everyone that we are not concerned with whether the acquittal of the employee in the company’s branch in Shabwa, Taslim Saleh Nasser Shamlan, as he claims, nor do we care about his conviction, as indicated in the documents reported by the media, and that this is a matter for the judiciary and the prosecution, and it concerns the management of The company's branch in Shabwa.
He added, "We explained everything related to this matter to leaders for whom we have the utmost appreciation and respect, and out of our keenness to do so, we said what our conscience dictates to us and what our moral and legal responsibility dictates to us towards the people, the nation, and towards our company, which we cannot neglect under any restraint." We cannot, under any circumstances, allow anyone’s personal interests to prevail over the interests of the company or the public interest, and we are still waiting for the voice of reason in them until they retract their decision, in order to avoid strife and not drag us into the chaos that we do not seek, and to prevent any escalation of protest that this stubbornness may push us to. There is no justification for us to resort to all means and methods authorized by the law, to declare a workers’ strike and gradually raise the strike ceiling according to the steps followed in accordance with the Trade Union Law until our demand of canceling the decision is achieved.”
