The Director General of the Office of Industry and Trade in Lahj, Abdul Rab Al-Jaafari, sent a circular to the directors of the industry offices in the governorate’s districts to inventory the owners of the bakeries and the quantities consumed of flour in order to know the quantity that these bakeries need to cover the citizens’ need for roti.

Al-Jaafari appreciated the efforts made by the directors of industry and trade offices in the directorates to activate the role of their offices to serve their directorates and citizens.

He urged them to exert more diligent activity, raise the level of work, and provide better services to merchants and citizens by facilitating transactions and procedures for merchants in their directorates, field visits to the markets to monitor prices according to their timetable for completing the tasks assigned to them, implementing the circulars issued to them, and continuous communication with the Office of Industry and Trade.
