Al-Muharrami discusses with Al-Daari military developments and ways to enhance vigilance and readiness

Abdulrahman Abu Zaraa Al-Muharrami, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, met today, at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Aden, with the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari.
The meeting reviewed military developments on the national and regional scene, in light of the escalating Houthi threats to international shipping lines in the Red Sea, and the preparations of the armed forces to contribute effectively to protecting maritime shipping lines in the region in coordination with regional and international partners.
The meeting discussed the plans and programs of the Ministry of Defense to develop and advance the military institution, and raise the alertness and readiness of its members, in light of the security and military challenges facing the country at various levels.
In the same context, a member of the Presidential Command Council, Abdul Rahman Al-Muharrami, praised the role of the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari, in rearranging and building the military institution and raising the capabilities of the military cadre, stressing the need for the 2024 training year to include specialized programs that enhance the level of discipline and raise the efficiency. And the capabilities of leaders and individuals alike, and it reflects positively on the state of security and stability.
