Under the directives of the Director General of the City Cleanliness and Improvement Fund - Aden and under the supervision of the Director General of Sheikh Othman Directorate, Dr. Wissam Muawiyah, public parks and gardens, including Omar Al-Mukhtar Park and the officially managed walkway, joined the sites where khat use is prohibited.

The sources called on everyone to cooperate and refrain from using qat in public places and private areas for families in the Sheikh Othman District, and to assist the security men, take their advice, and educate them about the necessity of presenting the capital with an aesthetic appearance befitting its history.

Last Tuesday, a meeting was held between the leadership of the local authority in Sheikh Othman, Dr. Wissam Muawiya, with the Director General of Security Establishments and Companies in the Cleaning Fund and public and security services companies to discuss ways of cooperation in the tasks of preventing manifestations of khat abuse in public places, parks, and tours.

Muawiyah urged the need for everyone to cooperate to give the district its usual civilized appearance.
