Taiz police deny the assassination attempt on Hamdi Shukri

The Taiz General Police Department issued a press statement denying what was circulated through some media outlets and social networking sites that Commander Hamdi Shukri, commander of the Second Giants Brigade, was subjected to an assassination attempt during his visit to Taiz Governorate.
The police confirmed in their statement that the news was completely false, and that Commander Shukri had made a fraternal and successful visit to Taiz, received a great welcome from the people of the governorate, and left it in peace and security.
The police described the visit as an expression of unity and solidarity of the national forces in the face of the Houthi coup, and that Commander Shukri is a symbol of the republic, unity and struggle, and that Taiz loves him and he loves her.
