MSC Container Shipping Group said that a fire broke out on board the ship that was damaged following the targeting of the Houthi militia.
MSCN confirmed that its subsidiary, Sky 2, was hit by a missile yesterday near Aden. However, it explained in a statement on Tuesday that the ship continued sailing to Djibouti for further evaluation.
The MSC group indicated, “The missile caused a small fire that was extinguished without injuring any of the crew members.”
