The American Ambassador: The Houthi attacks in the Red Sea have endangered peace in Yemen

The US Ambassador to Yemen, Stephen Fagin, said: The dangerous and illegal attacks carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia - Iran's agents in Yemen - on global shipping during the past five months have jeopardized everything positive that has been achieved for the sake of peace.
While the American ambassador described the Houthi militia attacks as “terrorist,” he renewed his country’s support for the Yemeni government to restore security, stability, and sustainable development.
During the celebration organized by the American Embassy on the occasion of the 248th anniversary of the independence of the United States, and the 78th anniversary of Yemeni-American relations, he pointed out the importance of working for a comprehensive solution to the conflict in Yemen through a Yemeni-Yemeni peace process under the supervision of the United Nations.
He touched on the cooperation between the two countries in several vital areas, most notably enhancing the security of the region through cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, combating arms and drug smuggling, and combating the smuggling of Yemeni antiquities.
