Yemeni photographer Hudhaifa Ismail Al-Wasabi was killed yesterday, while showing a screen on a street in the city of Sanaa.
Screens were displayed in various streets of the capital, Sanaa, to convey the speech of the Houthi leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
Al Jazeera media correspondent Samir Al-Nimri reported that Al-Wasabi was on one of the screens displayed in Al-Sabeen Square, where Al-Wasabi fell and died immediately.
Al-Nimri said that Al-Wasabi showed a status on his WhatsApp account of a picture of one of the screens he was on and commented, “May God protect the screen I am on... the crowds are increasing.”
The Houthi group displayed giant screens in some of the governorates it controls for the purpose of broadcasting the speech of their leader.
