Amid claims of liberating Palestine, the Houthis send hundreds of their fighters to Marib

Yemeni sources reported that the Houthis sent more of their militias towards Marib, seeking to besiege and storm it, under the name of “supporting Palestine.”
It confirmed that within 3 days, the Houthis organized a military march including thousands of their members, which set off from Sanaa and Amran to Ma’rib and neighboring Al-Jawf, which are under their control.
The Houthis' movements through the foot military march aim to push their militias, strengthen their positions with fighters, and place them on the lines of contact with government forces, in preparation for launching an attack on Marib.
In recent weeks, the Houthis have recruited thousands of Yemenis, under the pretext of victory for Palestine and lifting the siege on the Gaza Strip.
Recent reports indicated that the Houthi recruitment process began in 2009, but has increased significantly in the past few months.
According to civil society activists, the Houthis justify to the recruits that liberating Marib Governorate is part of breaking the siege on Gaza.
