Today, Thursday, the General Authority for Land, Survey and Urban Planning issued a statement warning citizens against dealing with 3 canceled stamps of its branch in Abyan Governorate.
The authority said in its statement that these seals were canceled after the former Director General of the General Land Authority, Eng. Abyan, Eng. Aqeel Ahmed Aqeel, and the Deputy for Real Estate Registry Affairs, Mohamed Salem Saleh Hadran, were referred to the corruption prosecution.
The Commission clarified that all memorandums, correspondence, and actions marked with these seals are considered illegal and unrecognized.
The Authority confirmed that it has new officially approved seals, and that its branch in Abyan, with its new director, Brother/ Salem Akaf Awad Mubarak, is not responsible for any actions taken with the canceled seals.
This statement comes within the framework of the efforts of the General Authority for Land, Survey and Urban Planning to combat corruption and ensure the progress of work in accordance with legal procedures.
