Private sources revealed details of a scandal involving the Yemeni ambassador in Doha, who is loyal to the Muslim Brotherhood, Rajeh Badi.

According to “Al-Amnaa” newspaper, Ambassador Rajeh Badi registered ownership of one of the luxury cars belonging to the Yemeni embassy in Doha in his personal name after payment for its value was made from the embassy’s account.

The sources explained that a 2023 Japanese-made Toyota Land Cruiser (GS) had previously been purchased from the account of the Yemeni embassy in Qatar at a price of 220,000 Qatari riyals, or more than 60,000 US dollars.

According to an official document issued by the Qatari Ministry of Interior and obtained by the “Trustees”, the ownership of the diplomatic car was registered in the name of the Yemeni Ambassador, Rajeh Hussein Farhan Badi, instead of registering it within the real estate and property of the Yemeni Embassy.
