I heard, like others, the pleas of those stranded in Port Sudan. The truth is that the situation saddened me greatly, and I waited for the concerned authorities to do their part towards their citizens. Perhaps they had arrangements that might take an extent that would make matters more complicated, since a large portion of those stranded are children and women. So I decided not to delay and contacted the Expatriate Affairs Attaché at our embassy in Sudan. Because they are the ones supervising the conditions of those stranded there
I directed our team at the Three Tracks organization to arrange the trip, and thank God the evacuation took place. Thank you to everyone who facilitated and contributed to the success of a peace trip, and we named it as such in honor of the peace that we all dream of to escape the trouble and tragedies of war.
While the returnees and their families expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to Sheikh / Abdul Salam Al-Hajj, Five Three Tracks, and the Yemeni government for their efforts in addressing the problem of the stranded people and bearing the costs of returning them to the homeland.
