The Specialized Criminal Prosecution in Hadramaut releases 113 prisoners pending criminal cases

The Specialized Criminal Prosecution in Hadhramaut Governorate, represented by its president, Judge Shaker Mahfouz Bunnish, approved, on Thursday, the release of 113 prisoners from the Central Correctional Facility in Mukalla pending criminal cases.
This came during the field visit of the Head of the Specialized Criminal Prosecution, Judge Shaker Mahfouz Binnish, the General Director of Security and Police of the Hadhramaut Coast, Brigadier General Moti’ Saeed Al-Menhali, the General Director of the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the Hadhramaut Coast, Mr. Ahmed Salem Bazros, and the Deputy Specialized Criminal Prosecutor of the First Instance, Judge Masoud Al-Ghatnini. , to the Central Correctional Facility in Mukalla for inspection and inspection of the conditions of prisoners under the custody of the Specialized Criminal Prosecution, and to release those whose sentence has expired or who have served two-thirds or three-quarters of the term and who have been proven to be of good conduct, in addition to prisoners under investigation.
Judge Bennish confirmed, in a media statement, that the Specialized Criminal Prosecution ordered the release of 113 prisoners whose sentence has expired, and others who have served three-quarters of their sentence, as well as prisoners under investigation in accordance with the directives issued by His Excellency the Public Prosecutor of the Republic, Judge Qahir Mustafa Ali. For his part, Brigadier General Al-Menhali indicated that the order of the Head of the Specialized Criminal Prosecution to release prisoners whose sentence has expired, or who have served three-quarters of the term and whose conduct is good, or prisoners under investigation, is a sound step and came to reduce overcrowding in the prison and detention centers, and reduce the financial burdens that are imposed on them. The Correctional Administration and the Public Security Administration face it in light of the scarcity of capabilities, while the Correctional Facility in Mukalla accommodates prisoners from the Specialized Criminal Prosecution Office for four governorates, namely Hadhramaut, Al-Mahra, Shabwa, and Socotra.
Badros said in a speech addressed to the prisoners: “During your sentence in the reformatory, you received a fair amount of rehabilitation and vocational courses, so make them benefit you in your daily life, your families, and your community after you leave prison, and be good and useful people in your surroundings.< /p>
The release was attended by the Director of the Criminal Investigation Department in the Hadhramaut Coast, Colonel Hani Bashkil, and the Director of the Central Correctional Facility in Mukalla, Colonel Ali Bazbaidi.
